Hahahah ...

Last Wednesday, a good friend told me that there was this game being played by a group of YM members. I didn't pay attention much because I was at work. Yesterday, I was invited to one. As I joined the group of 'chat players' I was astonished as to how we all were connected. Two different groups, separated by fan followers of SFAS Grand Champion Rachelle Ann Go and R'nB Princess Kyla all connected because of one or couple of fan followers are RVMM members -- meaning Reginian's (Asia's Songbird - Regine Velasquez). SHINATICS (tag name for friends of Rachelle) vs. KOERS (Kyla Onliners).

What is it about? Well, there is a DJ who play several songs in which a member of the 2 groups find out the exact name of the song as well as the artist. One point each.

Yesterday Shinatics won the first round. I had a blast playing this game "NAME THAT TUNE". You would think you have to be on TV to enjoy this. Not in this case, it happened in different continents connected to this great invention of communication YAHOO MESSENGER at different time zones and locations. To be honest with you, I hope my co-workers didn't find me nuts yesterday as I laugh my ass out and shouted 'AY' because I was too excited. Hahahahaa. Anyways, give it a try to a group of friends of yours that you see online. I bet you, you'll enjoy it. Well, there was a 2nd round ... dunno who exactly won.

This morning, I anticipated to play again. I woke up early to see if anyone was playing. Guess what, the game started already. BTW, I am a SHINATIC (as well as a REGINIAN). We lost the first round. There was a huge gap earlier on, but shorten in but didn't win it. Well, was planning to be the DJ but had sound problems. Another took my place. We played again. We lost again. Then I became the DJ and still SHINATICS lost. Haay. Another battle must be played!!! REMATCH!!! Heheeeheee.

Yesterday morning while getting ready for work ... specifically blow drying my hair(ang haba na ng hair ko!!), as I do my morning routine visiting www.reginemultimedia.com/forum and reading posts/topics, I chanced upon a member's post regarding Ms. RV's interview sa TV Patrol. Nawindang ako! It was the first time I saw her react/comment that way. Unfortunately, didn't get to catch that on tape that morning. But I heard it loud and clear.

"Why should I be insecure? I am freakin' Regine Velasquez!"

Pretty much caught me off guard but at the same time I would have given her a standing ovation. My opinion, its about time. Maybe may pagka-makatid pa ang thinking/reaction ko in regards to her statement.

Time and time again, we saw her name attached/paired to a "chismis/chika", concert, celebrity, and product. None of which she complained about. There were even times she defended the people who put her name on those tabloids/newspaper entertainment articles either saying to the effect give them the benefit of the doubt. Or basically, you'd hear nothing from her. NOTHING ... NADA.

I ask, who in the world is Faith Cuneta? Is there any relation to the famous Cuneta mother/daughter tandem of Sharon/KC? I hope not, cuz the older Cuneta is still in showbiz after so many years because I bet you a hundred percent she makes tanaw na utang na loob to those who came before her - who paved the way and shows respect to the rest of the showbiz world. And I bet a hundred percent she does that to her fans too who continuously support her endeavors. The younger one, known to be stunningly beautiful and becoming famous in her own right, seems to be down-to-earth and di lumalabas na mayabang. Mind you, coming from a very known lineage sya - compared sa mga baguhan ha!

I am not here to bash this certain "Faith". I dunno her, nor seen her. Someone already noted she was once again interviewed and her comment was "Wala akong alam. Huwag na lang pansinin. Huwag po kayong magagalit sa akin." She doesn't know anything? Pero pretend not to notice na may issue. Contradicting naman. So may issue sya? Sya nga ata may issue. Huwag magagalit ... sino sinasabihan nya? Si Ms. RV? Or to all the RV followers? May kamandag din ba mga fans ni RV? [Sometimes I think meron, good and bad ... opinion ko lang. Let's just note some, Ariel/Gelli, Janno/Bing, Ogie/Michelle, Sarah, Viva, GMA, Lea/Gerard Salonga, Lani, Jaya, etc. Find na lang in the list which was good, which was bad.]

Kiddo ... you've created a buzz ... consequence of which you've heard from the songbird's mouth this statement (which is actually becoming famous amongst her followers) - "WHY SHOULD I BE INSECURE? I AM FREAKIN' REGINE VELASQUEZ!" And guess what, "I AM FREAKIN' REGINE VELASQUEZ FAN!" - kokontra ka? Hahahaha ...

Advice: USE HER WISELY! [Tama ba!? Hahahahah!]

Geez, I've done all I could. The problem is the server's gets disconnected hence namamatay ang job. Contacting Nit (Database Analyst) ... script changes here, running script there. One script was running, timed out, disconnected pa!!!! Nakng naman o.

PESTENG FIRE DRILL. Well, those scripts failed. What to do?!? What to do?!? Hay, ugly weekend ahead. Ok, adjusting of scripts. I'll be back tomorrow. You know there is such thing called life and I have to do errands. Tangna talaga.

Still at work. Bwisit. O ano ngayon, we have 100,000+ records and we can't save it off an excel spreadsheet. For scripts running in PROD and my pc is about to choke. Di makayanan. Too much multi-tasking involved. Nalilito na PC ko. Tita B tried calling me 2 times, unfortunately couldn't answer the phone since there was about 2 people in my cube, and 2 more people outside my cube (my manager and then our director). PESTENG fire drill.

What the heck!!! I hate fire drills. Not that there was a fire. It is a special request from the people who runs this place I call work, who requests something and needs it at the end of today. That will never happen I guarantee.

Alright about 2 weeks ago, I started getting freakishly depressed … and pinpointed it directly to aging … another day - another birthday. Hey … ur right I have to be happy and thankful for another wonderful year … but like I said I was freakishly depressed … is it because of the big 3-0? And it seems like I have not accomplished anything even though things have come by that I wouldn’t expect I would do and keep on doing? Or was I seeing my future with a scary thought. 5 days before …. 4 days before … 3 days before … yes I was counting down … don’t know if it was a gut feeling that was bothering me - what is this feeling which I couldn’t pinpoint - WHAT THE HELL!?!?… it shouldn’t have been the big 3-0. 2 days before … 1 day before … The big 3-0 came by and it hurt for a day … I slept that night and woke up and saw the end of the tunnel … YES FOLKS I SAW THE LIGHT … way pass 30 … and my thoughts straightened out … and it said, THINK OF HAPPY THOUGHTS ...

MP3 Galore ...

For the past few weeks or so, I've been busy tagging all my mp3's that I have accumulated and still getting. Not an easy task. I've been pushing myself for the past 2 years that I would do it and set up a server and allow a few folks to access this. Almost done, except for one thing. I need my server up and running.

What is my new server. Well, it is actually my old 20gb pc, just sitting around inside my closet. I've been planning to see what was there before and grab off files that I deem important. If nothing, then I will clean that pc and start from scratch. Then move all my mp3's. I have 14gb of mp3's. How in the world would I do this ... *scratch* *tap* *tap* ... hmmm well I got 3 days off this week - it's the Holy Week you know. Just get myself busy with it and hopefully have it up and running. Ooops. I forgot gotta get myself another monitor ... eeeeek.

BTW, Bridget Jones 2 is now available to rent today. Have not seen it, should I get it... maybe ...
